Creative Partner to a Global Appliance Group


The Challenge

Electrolux are a global player in home appliances. As a group they represent three well known brands – AEG, Zanussi and Electrolux. 

2017 was a huge year for their most premium brand, AEG. A completely new AEG kitchen ‘Mastery’ range and the ‘Unprecedented laundry care’ product range were both being released and they needed to spread the word to the markets. We were brought on-board to be AEG’s key creative partner for this.

Our creative challenges reached across the full breadth of comms, from POS design through to experiential shows, from consumer incentive schemes to product brochures. All had the same strategic goal; to re-enforce their premium position and engage target consumers.


The Solution

One of our first design challenges was to launch AEG’s new laundry range in John Lewis stores with a fresh approach to caring for your wardrobe. We took the new products, new technology, beautiful imagery and brought it to life with an innovative POS design, giving AEG maximum standout instore. 

Experiential design was also a key tactic to engage consumers and help them get hands on with new AEG kitchen appliances. We were tasked with designing their main shows – Grand Designs at London Excel and Taste of London, Regents Park and Tobacco Dock. We gave the shows the full AEG brand treatment, making sure that their brand was at the heart of every unforgettable experience. 

AEG Promotions has been a big ongoing project for us. We swapped the existing promotional message – which had little stand out – for the new name ‘AEG Rewards’. A new distinctive design and messaging was introduced to reinforce the premium brand position to independent kitchen retailers up and down the country.
